Newcastle Gyprocker Heroes Pty Ltd respects your privacy and protects the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a plastering business working across Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect what you give us directly, which may include your name, telephone number, email address, suburb, street address, and details about the property and the work you are asking about. That includes any plans or photographs you attach to an enquiry. We ask for what we need to answer you, quote accurately and carry out the work, and nothing beyond it.
Enquiry and quote forms
When you send a quote request through this website, what you enter is delivered to us by email. A third party form delivery service handles that on our behalf. It processes your submission only to deliver it to us and does not use your information for its own marketing.
We use what is in an enquiry to contact you, to price the work, to book a start date and to keep a record of what was discussed. We do not add enquiry details to marketing lists.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies in your browser and collects the pages you view, the time and length of your visit, the approximate region derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and the site or search engine that sent you.
We read this in aggregate, to see which pages and services are useful and to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not join it to the contact details you send through a form.
We also record when somebody taps a telephone number or sends a quote request, so we can tell whether the website is serving people who need us. Those records capture the action and the page it happened on, not the content of any conversation.
Analytics data is deleted automatically by Google once the retention period set on our property expires.
You can stop this collection at any time. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and Google offers a browser add on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use this website, request a quote or contact us.
How we use it
To answer enquiries and give quotes, to book and carry out plastering work, to contact you about a job in progress, to meet our legal and insurance obligations, and to improve this website and what we offer.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with marketing databases. It is not used for surveys or polls.
We share it only where we need to: with the service providers who run this website, its analytics and its form delivery, and with professional advisers, insurers or authorities where the law requires it. Some of those providers, Google included, may store or process data on servers outside Australia.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This website is served over an encrypted connection. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee it absolutely.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@newcastlegyprockers.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices and job histories, where the law, tax or insurance requires it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first so we can put it right. If you are still dissatisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect a change in what we do or in the law. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
