New homes and renovations are the bulk of it, sheeted from your plans with the board, cornice and compounds supplied. The rest is faults in houses people are already living in: holes and cracks in walls, ceilings that have started to sag, cornice that has come away, and linings that have had water through them. You get the person doing the job

The owner prices the job and the owner turns up to do it. There is nobody in between, no account manager and no call centre, and the business has been run that way since 2016. It is a small outfit and plenty of customers ring precisely because of that.

Materials are part of the price

The board, the cornice, the compounds and the fixings all come from us and they are in the quote. There is no separate list for you to price, order and be home to receive, and nothing on the job waits on a delivery you were supposed to arrange.

Ceilings first, base coat the same visit

Ceilings go up before the walls, so the top edge of every wall sheet lands underneath and holds the ceiling along each wall line. The base coat goes on straight after the sheets rather than the following week, then sanding, then further coats, and cornice last.

A price before anybody is on site

New homes and renovations are priced from your plans and repairs are priced from a photograph, so you get a figure before we book a start date. Quoting costs nothing, there is no travel charge anywhere we work, and there is no obligation to go ahead.

We do not hold stock in a shed. Board and compounds are ordered per job from the manufacturers below, and where a wall or ceiling belongs to a tested system the board that system names is the board that goes in.
